safe areas in mount hope neighborhood (Providence, Pawtucket: apartment, renting, to live)

Hello, I am looking for an apartment at Providence right now and just found out one at the intersection of Royal St. and North Main St. Is it a safe area to live and walk around? I am in central Pennsylvania and not familiar with the neighborhoods in providence. Thanks!

There is a mix of students renting in that area between No. Main and Ivy St, but if it were me, I wouldn't do it. On your map, I'd cross out North Main to Olney to Rochambeau to Ivy. Try going further north Rochambeau all the way into nearby Pawtucket, or stick to the Wickenden street area, Wayland, Blackstone, or Fox Point.
