The whole day was good day yesterday. Although the beginning didn't sound promising. I went to a Celebration of Life for a neighbor in the am. They included songs by the handbell choir that the deceased lady had played with, a song sung by her 3 surviving siblings (very nice voices), and a gathering of every single neighbor on our cul-de-sac (all 16 of us) to pay our respects to our neighbor, and her widower. After that, rode our e-bikes (so fun) to a pickleball social, played PB for 3 hours, then went out for an early dinner at the nearby clubhouse, and then some pre-valentine whoopie. Every bit a very good day. The ceremony in the morning was nice, and I learned things I never knew about our late neighbor lady. I think I'm going to start looking at funerals and C-o-L ceremonies in a new light, not as a sad goodbye, but as an opportunity to understand the deceased in a new way, and honor the whole of their life.

Great nights sleep is my delight today.

Noticing good things is a topic in our home. Spouse has been trying to be more optimistic and writing down (after noticing) 5 good things a day. He also does TM (transcendental meditation) for 20 minutes and he looked happier after those two things (5 good things and TM). I am an optimist that ALWAYS sees the bright side, sometimes that's NOT a good thing but whatthehey.

Just saw a pic of my grand-niece celebrating her 10th birthday with a "spa day" for her and two other friends - but also included was her baby brother! There he was also in a robe getting his feet done. They were all holding glasses of punch - they looked so grown up - lol

Handed off two non working laptops to a guy who wants to try and repair them. I'm no "Save the earth type" but knew there was still life left in them, just needed a bit of work. Hope he succeeds.

Waking up in bed this with a beautiful Playboy Playmate, she made us breakfast then she left..........................

Then I woke up! The dog sh!tt on the carpet, then I stepped in it, went to kick the dog and got poo on the ceiling/walls. But atleast I have a guy coming over to mow my lawn, I'll have him clean the carpet/touch up the paint. Nice guy, family man and recently unemployed so I figured I'd help him out giving him some odd jobs to do. He is a little sensitive about SuperBowl weekends. His name is Tom Brady....... GOTCHA!

Sense of smell ! The soup I was reheating must of turned the dial up instead of down. Grateful too, stopped playing on the computer to check the soup just in time ! The okra I added to the soup, was edible !

I was delighted that the 16.5 year old cat I recently adopted only woke me up twice during the night to be fed (she yells from the basement when she's hungry), and when I went to feed her at 5:30 AM she hadn't pooped on the floor for once. I was absolutely elated at that. Obviously I am easily delighted.
