Has anybody here had any experience with the Eldy software package? I was thinking about it for an older family member who has had some challenges of late and needs a little help with their PC use. It is useful? Any significant issues? Is there a more preferable option? Thanks.
I had to look it up to figure out what it was. All the references I find for it online seem to be from 2008 to 2012. I see it's downloadable free, and so it doesn't seem like it would be a bad idea. If the family member doesn't like it you can always just delete it. It seems similar to a program my FIL used to use that was WebTV or something like that. It just simplified the concept of using different programs for different purposes by changing the programs/applications into big buttons that he could use to access e-mail, web searches, etc.
