My LTCI policy, started in 8/2010, had no increase the first 4 renewal years. In 2015, premium went up 17.5% (approx 3.5%/year). 8/2016 saw no increase.

I received a notice of increase the other day. I'm considering attending the hearing before the state's insurance agency to object to the increase. But first, I have to figure out what "group" they are assigning me to as I should no longer be considered a member of the Maryland State employee/retiree group. (I opted out of that group several years ago when the terms of the group's contract were changed.)

Mine went up about 10%, although don't have the paperwork if front of me.

Hubbys has again not had an increase. Don't know if it is because his policy is no longer taking new applicants or just better run. He pays $45 per quarter--purchases it about 20 years ago.
