Long ago, before the advent of ageism, it's my understanding that the three ages of woman were:
maiden
mother
crone
Crone representing the wise, elder woman. Now it's more viewed as a negative rather than the former positive...
What am I afraid of? Not contributing or creating any further...my mind's always been curious and questing, and its my desire that I continue on that path until I grow into the wise old crone and then into the long sleep...
