MG is still around, they just haven't been sold in the USA for a while.
Hummer is being resurrected as an all-EV brand. The 2023 allotment is already sold out as is most of the 2024 allotment.
DeLorean is attempting a comeback with an EV called the Alpha 5 scheduled for sale in 2024. As of now it's all vaporware so we'll see.
they are, but they are the ugliest SOBs, half azzed CUVs clones from someone elses small crapper. I learned to drive stick on a 79-B (dad was a dealer) when was the last 'roadster-ish' offering they did?

The Midget and the Fiat Spider when I drove them, hard to purchase parts. By the time the car was

I learned to drive the stick on these cars too. I loved it. I drove through Manhatten, easy and smooth
around the corners, and had more advantages to parking due to sizing. I loved driving the small convertibles in the Big Apple - looking up at the skyscapes - just awesome. Great on gas going from Long Island all through to the city. Youth and a GREAT car!
