God's universe is governed by laws as immutable as they are perfect in their workings, and the great thing to be accomplished by the plan which He provided for the redemption of men, is to have every man come into harmony with these laws, because just as soon as that harmony exists, there will be no more discord and sin will not be known to humanity. Why bother?

If God was so keen on creating a sinless universe why did he create a sinful one? Is It stupid, or just purposefully masochistic?

Secular laws are far better than mythical god’s rules and regulations, which throughout history have promoted hate and prejudice. Time will replace these mythical deities and humanity will be much better off when religion is recognized as the fraud it is.

If no one sinned, this would be a sinless universe... think about it now. Men created sin by their evil thoughts and desires, their vanity and need to be in control, and eventually their perversions. As long as people ignore the obvious... that is, in order for this world to be a loving and peaceful one, we will all need to follow the will of our Heavenly Father... which, by the way, is all about love. But this takes an effort on our part to change ourselves... our way of thinking and acting... and from what I see, people don't want to bother with this simple effort... they would rather just keep sinning, complaining and moaning and blaming our Heavenly Father for their woes... so whose the real masochist here?

I know men don't like authority figures and even men's laws... but our Heavenly Father is the highest authority and His laws are designed for our happiness. If we learn them and follow them... then we will be living in a whole lot better world. It's all about love... very simple.

They were created without sin. So what happened then? What caused them to sin? Vanity... inflated egos... self-delusion... pride. Sin is a violation of God's Laws and when we violate any of these laws, we will need to pay the consequences... just the same as when we violate men's laws. You reap what you sow... karma... cause and effect... the law of compensation.

Because our Heavenly Father is loving and He doesn't want us to be His puppets, He gives to us a free will to make our own choices and, of course, He loves it when we choose Him rather than make choices that violate any of His laws... this has been discussed many times in other threads, but it's very important.

Law of Free Will:

When God created man, He gave him a free will - the most wonderful of the natural gifts to man - and He will not arbitrarily control the direction of that will by the exercise of His Power. Where the human will is concerned, God leaves man supreme. Of course, while this is so, yet if man contravenes the laws of God in such exercise, man must suffer the consequences; for God never changes or sets aside His laws. Man may exercise his free will as he desires, and as his thoughts and appetites may influence him to do, but this freedom of exercise does not prevent the imposition of the penalties that the laws prescribe when the laws are violated. Thus you see, that there is freedom without limitation, but every inharmonious exercise of that freedom, necessarily invites the infliction of that which necessarily follows the violation of harmony.

Okay, logical exercise here. Follow me:

God created man.

Man created sin. (Your claim).

God *knew* man would sin.

Therefore God knew creating man would create sin.

God wants a universe without sin. (Your claim again).

Now, that last claim does not fit with the available evidence. Either the claim is wrong, that God does not want sin, or the assumptions are wrong. Either God did not know man would sin (which makes him not omniscient and therefore not God), or God actually did knowingly create a universe with sin, because even though he knew man would sin, he created man anyway.

And so, only that which will bring man into this harmony can possibly save him from his sins and bring about the at-onement that Jesus and his disciples taught.

Laws are eternal and never change, and are made by the Great Father to be applied to all the conditions and to all the relationships of the material world and of the spiritual world. But the laws that apply to the operations of the material world, are not fitted to apply to the operations of the spiritual world. And the man who understands the former, and their application to material things, is not able to apply the laws applicable to the spiritual world and to spiritual things.

A knowledge of the laws pertaining to the natural will not supply a knowledge of the laws pertaining to the spiritual. The material laws may be learned from by the operations of the senses that belong to, and constitute, the material mind. But the spiritual laws can only be learned by the exercise and application of the faculties of the soul. The soul is to the spiritual things of God what the mind is to the material things of God. And the great mistake that men make and have made is to attempt to learn these spiritual things with the powers of the material mind.

AMEN On the Laws of God...and the reason for his making us...and the way back to him and the garden restored.

Only when we do and practice those laws, do we come closer to God.

All that is, is governed and or part of some form of law..equation..design.
There is nothing that is, that has not part of the laws of God in it.

I like to think that what we see in space...is just the mathimatical atomic equations of all that is or was on this world called Earth.

And to know that, instead of looking to the stars for new worlds to plunder and destroy for profits and gains...
We should start taking care of this world and all things on it.!
Share as God has shared...be Good...be perfect...and sow those seeds sinlessly...to know the greator Good of God.

Maybe then God would give us another world to tend....maybe...A new heaven and new earth?...YES...but first we have to fulfill all!

There's no such thing as god's laws. There are physical laws and there are cultural laws. Physical laws govern our universe while cultural laws govern our actions.

Side note, love isn't a concept that comes from a god thing.
