Actually. Skeptics very much agree with you. Perhap a recently deceased person you have a chance of success. But anyone frozen....me thinks chances are not good.
Does this claim remind anyone else of commercially-viable civilian space travel, or nuclear fusion power plants, which have been 'just a few years away, cross our hearts!' for decades now, with articles hyping how they're finally 'going to happen real soon now, and we really mean it this time!' every couple of years?
Hey now, don't knock false hope. It sells! The masses will swallow whatever false hope you feed them. Kings and Religious leaders figured that out a long time ago. People want to believe.
The only thing I wonder is whether "They" were neo Nazis intent on restoring the Thurd Reich or whether it was the usual Hollywood studio -fall -back - big business seeing a way of coming up with a technological advance that will send sales rocketing.
