Never read it. Wouldn't be opposed to it. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hitchen spoke much better than he wrote, where is with Dawkins it's the opposite. I somewhat agree with you on Hitchens style, but disagree as Dawkins presented his points quite well even though both have a tendency to be somewhat dismissive at times. On that last point, Hitchens is much more erudite than Dawkins.

Hey now....only "positive results" are allowed when determining God's success rate.

I was sad to Hitchens die. I honestly felt like he was kind of a likable guy--in the "rotten old scoundrel" sort of way.

I read and did a review of Dawkins' book for a class I took. I looked at his arguments, and found that he just didn't present a sound argument, nor did he treat the arguments for Christianity well. To be honest, it was 4-5 years ago and I can't remember a lot of what was in it. It just wasn't memorable. I think the guy would get shredded in a debate with a good apologist, someone of the likes of James White, or even Matt Slick.

We are losing a lot of adult bookstores as well.

I forgot to mention in the my last posting (posting # 13 -- seen above) about the widespread prevalence of E-BOOKS. I myself have acquired just about every print book I own in an e-book version as well ... and for those that are not published as e-books and the publisher or author don't seem to have plans to do so, I scan them into my computer and create an e-book myself, usuallly in PDF format or some other format (only for my own personal use, as I don't believe in committing piracy ... and, if the publisher or author or said book would come out with an e-book version, I would acquire that instead).

The point is: I'm sure that the prevalence of e-books has had a major impact on local booksellers and also on books being sold at non-bookstore retailers (e.g.,, Walmart, Target, K-Mart, CVS, et al).

I wonder if that's where the idea of a negative remark or account dropping off your credit report every seven years?...
