Not likely since they have outlast nations and government for centuries. Kind of bitter aren't you.
So did astrology and belief in a flat earth. Eventually they went, or at least lost credibility. Religion, sooner or later, must go the same way, no matter how long it has dominated.
We are not bitter; we are annoyed at how long the con -trick has lasted. Eventually we can regard it as a sort of cross between astrology and military re-enactment. Entertaining and fun (but not with the research aspect of re-enactment) and like astrology, can be tolerated (with the occasional slapdown if it gets too uppity) provided it sticks to gulling a few thousand gullible and the 'Your local religion' pages of the daily rag.
And the Holy books WILL be relegated to the 'Mythology' shelves.
The term "religion" means "to bind together". In essence, religion is nothing more than community wrapped around shared values. What would it mean for "religion" defined that way to dissipate? People are going to stop gathering in community? They're going to stop having shared values? Or is the claim that people will not gather in community around their shared values? I doubt even that latter case will occur, unless people stop having values and become radically selfish beings, as some may be advocating.
The number of religious folks willing to be duped by myth, though, is dissipating. In essence, it is already happened, and all that's left is the waiting for the reactionaries to fade away to see the full impact of the repositioning of myth.
Perhaps religions, at least in Europe and North America, will dissipate to a few who want myths to dominate over reality in the next few decades.
The amount of people under religion will obviously keep decreasing over the century. Although I think a lot of people will still hold personal beliefs.

I think the OP was referring to traditional myth-based religion, not merely communities of like-minded people.
I am sure there are many reasons as to "why" but overall it is not surprising.
For one, it doesn't take too much looking to see that religions are still being used to control and/or subjugate women to some extent in many instances (and this is common among many religions). Why would an independent, free thinking woman want to sign up for that?
