His Noodleyness the FSM was created for atheists by atheists ... or did he create atheists for himself? In any case, the FSM is their own creation so it's probably the best symbol.

There used to be large swaths of Christian and Deist monotheists in America that held believes against religious imagery and religious imposition similar to Zoroastrians... but those numbers of good people in the religious camp have dwindled, along with the increase in hypocrites predicted by Zoroaster and Jesus.

Might as well use the IPU or the FTP (Flying Tea Pot... which actually orbits). A good "Atheist" and/or "None" symbol should be the word "Atheist" or the phrase "non-religious" spelled in whatever font any "atheist or non-religious denomination" choses, respectively.
