Morality is simple - depends on which law you follow:
[] Law of the Jungle versus
[] Law of Love.
A "law abiding" predator kills or is killed, eats or is eaten. He believe the end justifies the means. Winning is everything. Sacrificing others for his own needs is the rule, not the exception. Predators are "good," prey are "good to eat," prey who fight back are "bad."
Of course, that is anathema to philosophies based on the "Law of Love". Proponents of that ideal believe in harmless activity in support of one's right to life. Highest expression is self-sacrifice for the benefit of others.
When religions taught respect for rights and the law of love, they were tolerable. When religions were infiltrated by predators, they became intolerable.
I don't think you understand the law of the jungle. prey which fight back aren't bad unless they are bad at fighting back.
Is the "Law of Love" about being a Jain? or about killing animals and consuming their flesh? How much self-sacrifice should there be? What counts as "benefit"?
If religions teach the law of love, how do they protect themselves from being infiltrated?
