b) secular humanism does not imagine any intent to quantum mechanics, so your so it could just hang out comment only further underscores your ignorance.

It's called 'gravity' - you do accept gravity, right? (or are you going to go with the good old but-it's-only-a-theory dodge to deny that, too?) Or is Newton now a part of your anti-God conspiracy?

The ignorance of the subject from the OP is quite worrying isn't it? Even more so when you realise that people who have such ignorance can vote like-minded people into office.

The OP obviously prefers to get informed via The Institute for Creation Research, Answers in Genesis or a character named "IllBeBauck" posting on another forum, rather than from a reputable site that actually knows what it's talking about.

But as the God is cyclic, representing the fertility of life and its death in winter, She is the one who is eternal and simply sleeps.

If you want to see something amazing, watch the episode on the formation of the Earth on How the Earth was Made, a series about geology which is enthralling. The whole series is, and makes something which can be dry and boring into something wonderous.

I personally believe that the chances of life beginning and prospering were so slender, and its surviving at all over time so amazing that there must be a lifeforce out there. I call Her the Godess, or usually the Mother and she is part of Earth. I choose a ancient clay figure found in neolithic remains as her representation because she is so basic. She did not guide life but is part of the energy that keeps it going. And I mean ALL life, plants, animals (including us) and pond scum. All is equally sacred and all equally a part of her children.

If you have a different belief go for it. We all pick our own path. But the LOL is not part of your choice since you can't choose for anyone else.

No one, except theists, claim that our universe came from nothing. We don't know how the universe came to be although we have ideas. Theists, on the other hand, claim that god created the universe but they dodge the question, "Where did god come from?"

Which laws are you talking about? I'm assuming the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics is one but I'm not sure about the other. Evolution does not violate the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics as we do not live in a closed system. The sun provides energy for life's processes.

Uh, no. The law of physics were not developing at the same time 'pond scum' came on the scene. These laws were in place before life arose; otherwise, we could not have life.

Your OP is so ignorant it's just plain dishonest.

Do IDers have a mental roadblock that keeps them from understanding rudimentary concepts of cosmology. Neither science nor atheism claim the universe came from nothing. How many times does that need to be explained before it sinks into your head?

Wrong again. No scientist says that we just popped out of a cosmic soup pond.

3. This first living piece of Pond Scum from non living materials and
thru compounded mutations upon accidental mutations .... started to
multiply itself into higher and higher complexity until there were
TWO
of the same. Then over many millions and millions of years, started
to accidentally evolve upward (even though its against 2 major laws
of
science) to become ALL of the many millions of life forms we have
today including plants, animals, and Human Beings . It was just a
gigantic fluke that our 60 anatomical systems all working in unison
so
we could live, occured ... its certainly the wonder of time and
chance finding a way . Who would have ever thought a piece of Pond
Scum had such potential !
You need to take a biology course at your local university, rather than learning what people thought in the French Indian War.

Did you get your education at Calvin? Evolution doesn't say anything about pond scum. No more reading Dembski.

00000000000000000000000000000000000001 percent otherwise our Sun is
not here and neither are we. (As you can see, the brakes were applied
at just the right time !) . Add to these another 147 simular razor
edge Life Enabling Constants and you can see, given enough time,
anything can happen by chance with a little imagination .
This is just an example of quote mining and also shows you have little imagination. What you're really saying is that you don't know therefore it must be god.

'Mother' Nature sure has shown us her favor --- How very personal

Thanks Mom !
Your ignorance of what science and atheism actually claim is so great it could be entered into the guinness book of world records.

Yes, the OP is staggeringly ignorant and twisted.

As a non-expert layperson who doesn't believe in a creator, but who is utterly in awe of the natural world, I see the same "miracles" and interpret them differently. The universe and our experience of it is inevitable, BECAUSE things happened in the way they did. Creationists always put the cart before the horse--imagining meaning where none exists because their minds can't embrace the notion of a non-human-centric universe.

We are seeing a moment in an unimaginably vast evolutionary timescale, and the fact that we are here and able to observe and cogitate upon it is the result of all those coincidences and happenstances you find so miraculous.

Use your imagination, sir. See things from a different perspective, it may open your mind.
