Okay, this sounds a lot more interesting than the details about the restaurant. Do tell: why was the date incredibly awkward?

Got told to sit up straight and walk slower on more than one occasion (this is the first time I had ever met this person)

Found out she'd been engaged and broke it off twice.....in the past year.

Also the griping of the politics of the town we were in was pretty tired. "I love the basketball team but hate the politics of this town!". "If a crazy person was running down Franklin street all of these snowflakes would get picked off and none of them would stop him because they don't believe in carrying guns themselves"... Ok then.

I picked up the the whole tab as I always do.....and then my friend "randomly" called me to ask me to pick him up at the airport because his wife just couldn't make it

The burger and beer at CB were tasty as always though.

Oh wow, that does sound pretty bad. You know a date is bad if an airport pickup sounds more appealing - even a fake one! ;-)

Wooooowwwww....were you set up with her or is she so good looking no man can pass her up?

And did you set the rescue call up ahead of time or call a pal from the men's room?

At least you got a good story out of it?

Met some friends for dinner at Sushi Love in Durham last night. First time there and will not be the last. Great selection (also have full entrees) and everything was fresh! Worth the 30 minute drive from Raleigh for us!

Kai is so good - my friend was starving so we did the 5 rolls for $38 special and we devoured it all. It's my 2nd favorite sushi place in Raleigh following City Market Sushi.

It was a bumble match. Swipe right never burnt me so bad.

Let's just say I have systems in place Though this is the first time I'd ever actually used it.

Went to Chuck's downtown, recently, and was happy with it all - burger, fries and shake. Not as pricey as I imagined, so we may head back there again.

Previous weekend, we went to The Pit. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who cares even a little bit about brisket. My goodness, was that good! However, I would recommend going for lunch, if you are worried about cost, as it's about 40% cheaper (brisket was $12 at lunch vs. $18 at dinner).
