These are 2 different subdivisions I am assuming? Any information on Westlake? Does anyone know if there are a lot of kids? Westlake seems to have a questionable address, is it Cary or Apex?
To avoid confusion - there are subdivisions in north Raleigh with the same name. I think the one in Cary is two words (West Lake) whereas the one in Raleigh is one (Westlake). Sounds like you are focused on the Cary one, correct?
Yes we were looking at the one in Cary..but now I am understanding it would have an Apex address. There is a home for sale in West Lake, but it is listed as a Cary address. So confusing!
Does anyone know if there is a pool in the community or lots of kids?

The area is served by the Apex Post Office, so Apex mailing address. You are in the Town of Cary in TPAWL, West Lake, Jamison Park, Park at Langston.
USPS is so broke, but cannot close down by law, and they cannot afford to rework the mail routes.
Park at Westlake - Yes...lots of kids...big pool...walking distance to two elementary schools, middle school, high school and even a Primrose Preschool. Park at Westlake is in Cary and serviced by Cary for trash, fire, police, etc but we have an Apex mailing address.
I had really liked The park at Westlake when were visited. My concern was with the waste plant that is right there. For anyone living there, has it ever been an issue?
beautiful homes, nearby schools, close shopping. Fine area to live. Only reason we didn't buy there is we could smell that waste plant out there on a few of our house hunting visits.
The waste plant is never an issue...I forget that it is even there and have never smelled anything. We have lived there almost 5 years.
Okay. May be we just caught it on a bad day -- but it was definitely noticeable in the area we were looking -- it may have been one of the lots that was much closer to the actual plant.
