Keep hearing about a plan to raze the most of the buildings on a section of Capital Blvd. where the Flea market, a shopping center and Wake's ABE classes are located...

I really want bond park and north cary park(really more so lake crabtree area) to add in free outdoor gym. Don't know what an Free door gym is?

This

I contacted parks and recreation about possibly adding this as amenity, also added a climbing boulder in bond park, utilizing a small portion of the large green space. I'm hoping they truly consider my suggestion as I don't think that to implement this would be that expensive, and it would really benefit, people, it would draw more folks to the park, the senior center already has group activities, and this would add to their activities, bond park camp kids could use it too, it's a win win.

The mom of the child murdered in Durham yesterday said, "I wish I had made him go to school." Speaks volumes.

There is a woman in my neighborhood who leaves open cans of cat food on people's lawns, and doesn't ask permission. She doesn't remove the empty cans...and gets angry when homeowners ask her to please stop doing that.

Ponderous.

I'd worry more about drawing packs of possums (or more accurately, a passel ) than empty cans. In any event, my deepest sympathies.

We are, and every other critter that can possibly come by.

This is seriously the strangest thing. She has decided that one family doesn't feed their outdoor cat (this is based on nothing) - and she leaves food out for the cat. But never on that family's lawn, or on her own lawn. It's fascinating. None have shown up on my lawn because my dog hates cats.

Saw Selma today. Wish everyone could/would see this film. Everyone in the theater cried through the entire thing. Grateful to have seen it in Durham.

We saw the Imitation Game last night which was great. Struck a cord with us especially my English husband and because our closest friends are gay. Selma is on our list of must see movies.
I will make sure I bring tissues.
