Its officially the Holiday Season! ho HO ho. Now the top 5 things to be happy about this Holiday season in the triangle:
1. Look in the mirror enough said.
2. You took the plunge and moved here this past year.
3. Stand in one spot turn around 360 degrees and look beyond the greater Raleigh area and things look pretty good around here now don't they.
4. There are literally Christmas Tree sellers on every street corner and in tree terms its CHOICE, CHOICE, and CHOICE!
5. The Hurricane's will win the Joseph cup...ops sorry the Stanley cup!
Now the top 5 things not to worry about this Holiday season:
1. A bad mortgage deal.
2. Falling Real estate values.
3. Drought
4. Yes another new strip mall in a neighborhood near you.
5. The Hurricane's will win the Joseph cup...ops sorry the Stanley cup!
Have the BEST-is-SIS Holiday Season ever in the RDU - Triangle- Tarheel-Sand Hills- Triad- Coastal Plains - RTP - etc etc etc areas! Man we have a lot of names!
There's always got to be that one contradictory person... this morning I'm it! We're not the Triad. That's Greensboro etc. I also wouldn't call us Sand Hills or Coastal Plain. I am happy you lumped together the Triangle as TARHEELS, though.

I usually call everything outside of the Triangle "The Other Side of Raleigh" even if it's not.
