I searched to see if this had been addressed previously and could not find anything, so I apologize if I missed it! We come down about every 6 to 8 weeks and find spider webs hanging from the screen of the pool enclosure. We do have a pest control service, but it doesn't seem to be helping. My question is, do any of you experience the same issue? If so how do you deal with it? We have the brush on a long pole to brush them off, however it is time consuming, and I'd rather be at the beach or fishing!!

Ask your pest control company to dust the cage like they do the soffit, fascia and eaves. Otherwise, you just have to remove the webs yourself. I use a Webster brush. It has an extended pole.

They make a small round brush that fits in your pool pole. Like the previous poster said, it takes a few minutes. If you do it regularly, it seems to disrupt the spiders and it gets to where it's only once a month. Of course if you're only there sporadically, you'd have to get someone to do it for you. Maybe talk it over with your pool guy. The key is doing it regularly.

Thanks all for the suggestions! We do have the pole and brush, just wasn't sure if there was an easier solution.
It will be much easier when we are there full time, but that will not be for a few more years

When you use the brush spray it with wasp spray first. Leaves a film and slows down their return. Lots of times I use the pool brush (once they are under control and don't put too much pressure on the screen) and pull a couple down and leave it in the pool for an hour or so while the pumps running. Nope, not in it at the time but it does drown the buggers. Careful on using bug juice around the pool. I think it makes the Nitrates high. Used home defense a while back and our nitrate level went to 800.

Oh, when brushing the screen, learn to keep your mouth shut. Not open like I used to. No need to clarify..

The most important advice is keep your mouth shut! Wasp spray does keep 'em down too. Good luck!
