Is there any Senior Citizen Apartments in the Prescott area?
If so do they have websites?

Not sure about apartments...there are senior mobile home parks and senior condos. You might try Googling senior apartments prescott and see what you find. My guess would be that yes, there are senior apartments, because we have a lot of seniors in the area, but nothing immediately comes to mind.

I just got an apartment for my mother-inlaw at the Prescott Lakes Senior Community. We tried to see if she qualified at the senior apartments near the police station in Prescott Valley. She made to much money and they use "Gross" income and found out is section 29...maybe section 8 too??.
.
I ended up contacting Prescott Lakes Senior Community and Granite Gate Senior Housing., both in Prescott... Prescott Lakes Senior Community website is www.prescottlakesseniorcommunity.com
.
We got an apartment that runs $1100 a month for $920 Prices are lower than what's listed on their website...You can lease 12 or 18 months. "Everything" is paid for including cable TV, the only thing not paid is telephone... The cheapest apartment is $770 a month. Granite Gate Senior Housing runs $2500 a month and up....
Best thing to do is like we did....call and take a tour... Hope this helps.

You'll have a tough time finding something here for $300 month. There is a place that we tried to have my mother-inlaw rent in Prescott Valley that was a little above $300 a month and the most $550. The rent is based on your gross yearly income, my mother-inlaw made to much money per month.... If your just on social security it should be fine.... This company is almost done building new senior apartments in Prescott and they can tell you more about it... There is a one year waiting list but give them a call and see what they can do for you...
Sun Gate Senior Community, 3850 N. Civic Drive Northeast, Prescott Valley, Az. Ph: 928-759-7077
These apartments look pretty much the same as the Prescott Lakes with almost the same activities...
Good luck on your search

You'd need to get her name in at Canyon Run Village or the place in Prescott Valley. The prices will run from approx $350 - $550, depending on her income. I know a widowed elderly lady who qualifies for the lowest rate. The Canyon Run apts are only a couple of years old and very nice!
