I noted that the new housing being built along Glassford Hills suffered quite a bit of damage caused by runoff.

I noted that in a couple areas the walls they erected for fenced yards has been undermined. I did not think those elevated properties were planned very well. Maybe once they have some vegetation growing?

I see many areas where the erosion from the water runoff is 3-4' deep in some areas.

Did you see what happened to some back block walls on the drainage ditch on sunset ridge? Wasn't caused by the rains but they would have fallen down if they weren't removed first. The developer just piled up dirt to make several houses have a backyard. They didn't compact it down and the walls strated to slip down into the ditch. They had to remove the wall and footer and replace with a very sturdy retaining wall. How the inspectors passed that is beyond me. Has to cost Dorn lotsa dollars to fix that mess.

I don't feel a bit bad for builders employing substandard poor quality construction techniques. And where are the city inspectors during the process to ensure that builders at least adhere to code, ie. no compaction. pathetic. A true rip off of the people buying and not aware.
