Bummer, I finally tried this place on my last visit earlier this month and the food was excellent. I would have been back for sure.

I donut want to disappoint anyone but we had BoSa today in Payson. It was good. Probably would have been even better with coffee. But it was not transcendent.

We both had buttermilk bars as the clerk said they were the most popular.

Just spoke to them on social media, they're still pursuing the Gurley St and Pleasant St former Jack in the Box building. Not sure what the delay is all about.

Granite60. Prickly is just answering who the owners are after it was speculated that the acronym BOSA might be Brotherhood of Saudi Arabia. It was a joke

These Bosa donuts must be unique. Never heard of them so never had one. But with 25/6 replies and almost 2800 views they must be really different from other so called upscale donut shops.

I've tried more than my fair share of donuts - I certainly don't think these are unique or will blow you away taste-wise. And there's definitely nothing upscale about BoSa... In the greater Prescott area, my favorites are Outlaw and Daylight.

What's nice about BoSa is that most of their locations are open 24/7 (I have my doubts that this one will be - at least long term), they serve other things besides donuts (breakfast and lunch sandwiches, various drinks), and their prices are pretty reasonable. It will be the cheapest place in town for a boba drink if you happen to like boba.

I think it's somewhat ironic that after waiting almost two years to finally do something in Prescott, they went with a questionable location instead of trying to snag the very recently vacated Burger King at Frontier Village. I think that would have been a far better location for them.

Boba drinks are a bit on the sweet side, but once in a blue moon they're a nice refreshment.

Looks like the Bosa Donuts sign is up at the former Jack in the Box location. Should be opening soon, hopefully by spring or so.
