Prescott Valley is finally getting a real Chinese restaurant. I just saw the sign. I forget the name, but it's moving into the Carraba's location on Hwy 69 near Harkins. There's Beijing further down Hwy 69, but it's pretty tiny and lacks atmosphere.

It's not open yet. I think it's called Canton Dragon or something like that.

I meant to ask, "How was the food @Beijing?"

It was ok. Not stellar. I've only eaten there a couple of times, because there's no ambiance and the food was not great enough to overcome that. I suppose it meets the common demand of large portion sizes at reasonable prices.

There are a couple suburban style developments on the north side of PV if you like that sterile and boxy look. At least these seem to be clean and relatively quiet. Stoneridge is on the south side and has more diverse architecture and better choice of lot sizes and styles. As to the rest of the town; not much good to say unless you enjoy looking at junk cars sitting in the neighbors' yards and listening to the constant din of barking dogs.

PV is really quite a mix. There are lots of neighborhoods with nice middle-class suburban houses in between pockets of messy white trash hovels.
