This morning around 10am, I drove through Portland on the way to Seattle and was(once again) blown away by how gorgeous Portland is. It was sunny, there is so much development going on and the natural setting is just beautiful.

But what about that I84/I405/I5 thing, did that not cause you some panic? But yes, the view from the bridge makes it worth it, almost...

Indeed. If you get a chance, go up to the Japanese Garden and look at the view from the east terrace. Truly one of the greatest views on earth, IMO.

You know, I am beginning to rethink my original plan, and that was to retire this month and move to Portland. I think I may have gotten sidetracked, but Portland really is a beautiful and unique place.
