Could u give me zipcodes to look up for rentals in the area u live in? Would like to see what they go for, I would love to be able to walk everywhere, or even take my bike.

Thanks

not so much 97203 but the other two. 97203 is Saint Johns and there is everything you need there in the neighborhood along with easy access to downtown by bus.

Here's the Local Lowe's Home Improvement stores. I did a search on the webpage...
Perhaps now people from Portland can suggest which of these areas (most are suburbs of Portland) are most walkable?

1. LOWE'S OF CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR #1824
13631 SE JOHNSON ROAD
MILWAUKIE, OR 97222
(503) 794-2500

2. LOWE'S OF TIGARD, OR #1108
12615 S. W. 72ND AVENUE
TIGARD, OR 97223
(503) 624-2644

3. LOWE'S OF PORTLAND-DELTA PARK, OR #2579
1160 N. HAYDEN MEADOWS DRIVE
PORTLAND, OR 97217
(503) 737-3000

4. LOWE'S OF WOOD VILLAGE, OR #1114
1000 NE WOOD VILLAGE BLVD.
WOOD VILLAGE, OR 97060
(503) 667-1005

5. LOWE'S OF E. VANCOUVER, WA #1632
11413 NORTHEAST 76TH STREET
VANCOUVER, WA 98662
(360) 260-2120

You can't find anything for less than $220,000. in Hillsboro anymore - sorry. Washington County is growing like a weed, and bringing the prices with it. Even Cornelius (a small country type town) is getting beyond the $220 price.

As far as 'walkability' by Hillsboro Lowes. One question: WHY? Why would you EVER want to walk over there, much less live over there? It's right by TV highway (highway 8) which is the busiest road in Hillsboro. It's also more of a poorer neighborhood. Across the mainroad is the old Esplanade strip (houses Target, Petco, Safeway, Rite Aid and Ross).

Of the places you listed, the only place that sounds like where you want to live and near a Lowes is the one in Portland. It seems that you have a dilema working for a company that specializes in big box stores on the outskirts of town and wanting to live somewhere bikable/walkable. Not an impossible problem, but one that will require a creative solution.
