We're new to the area and haven't been out much. Looking for a nice place for an anniversary dinner. No steakhouses as I don't eat meat

Not knowing what you DO like --here is a quaint old home in Old Stuart - kind of hidden but I found it really romantic and great food. Jerry's La Famiglia Italian Restaurant and Seafood. 18 Seminole St. Stuart. You might want to wander down the streets in Old Stuart and check out the shops.. a nice stroll after dinner too! Congrats on your Anniversary!

Sounds nice! I should have mentioned I do eat seafood and we like all sorts of food - Italian, Thai, Indian, etc. I can usually find something to eat anywhere besides a steakhouse

Try the Dolphin Bar Shrimp House in Jensen Beach. Great seafood and on the water. Very nice place and great food!! Real close to Stuart!

When I came down for my interview, the owners took me to La Borgata restaurant in Palm City, it is a Italian restaurant which I thought was very good

I can't recommend New England Fish Market in either Palm City or Jensen Beach enough. I love that place for Seafood. Also- go to Manatee Pocket down at Port Salerno. Both Finz and Shrimpers are great! US1 has plenty of places to try- you'll gain 100 lbs before you get thru them all. Toojays is definitely a lunch stop for you sometime as well!
