I never thought about that. It was probably written by his young Republican grandson who is a tea party fanatic. What's next, 110 year old vet tweets "Obama, I want my country back" after he friends Sarah Palin on facebook.

I'm not questioning whether you can be healthy at 95 or whether you can use email. The issue I have is the likelihood. Most 95 year olds have not warmed up to the internet. Forgive me for being suspicious of a 108 year olds twitter and myspace page.

Well my dad isn't 95, he is 76 and he is pretty techy. But I thought the letter was dictated to someone for them to write. That's what I read anyway.

Your dad is a spring chicken compared to someone pushing 100.

True, but you would be surprised. When I went to visit my grandmother at the home there were the elderly ( yes really old) using the computer to keep in touch with loved ones. People had come in to teach them the basics of a few of these sites.

It's hard to respect a "Commander-In-Chief" whose only item that he has "fired up" is a bunk reefer blunt at Columbia University.

God Bless the letter-writer. This Memorial Day, remember those who honorably gave their lives because they loved their county. Try to thank a Vet instead of sitting around blaming Bush for everything.
