Many on this forum claim to be Christians, yet they speak so disparagingly of "LIBERALS". Wasn't Jesus the original Bleeding Heart Liberal?
If you walk in his path, then why the anger? If you walk in his path, then why spew untruths? If you walk in his path, then why not embrace the Liberal philosophy?

I wouldn't say he was liberal any more than he was conservative. But I do know he'd treat people better than many others would.

Ever notice...he only got really angry at the pretentious hypocrites?

Caring for the sick, helping the poor, that's soooooo old school. The wealthy televangelists have told us that GOD wants all of us to be RICH. Yay! Halleluyah! Put your hands on the collection plate and FEEL the heat of all that coin!!!

Sure after a hard day at the abortion clinic making Soylant Green for the masses he stole from the rich to give to the poor so they could buy the stuff. He would have remained a fisherman or carpenter but the loons declared he spare the fish and tree.

Is that about right?

Yup - that Mother Theresa was such a phony compared to the modern-day televangelists. She obviously did not get JC's message.
edit: clarification in response to a later post - above was sarcasm

People on the right say the liberal things Jesus talked about was doing them on a voluntary basis. But then Jesus said, "Render unto Casaer what is his."

How is she a phoney? Let's see you give all you have to the poor, so that they can have a better life. Karma, karma come back to you HARD!
What part of the message did she not get?
Gimme a break!

Oh puh-lease! Jesus didn't go into people's pockets and force them to give. He urged them to, not forced or coerced to taxed. Big, big difference!
