After the Blizzard of 77 - the news media hyped every snow storm and everyone ran out and made sure they had staples in case they were stuck again - it's almost 50 yrs later and they are still hyping every snow storm. The same has happened with these flus and viruses. Not saying some may be worse than others but the media preys on people's fears and make mountains out of molehills.

We've had viruses and flus going around every year for centuries but since Covid - everything is being promoted as worse than it probably is.
