Will the Climate finally stop Changing when we hit net neutral carbon?
I don't think it will. The only way to even attempt to reverse the warming trend would be to identify the actual causes then attempt to address those.
Having said that, I get the impression that the current CO2 level is probably about optimal. Maybe a little more would be beneficial. Noticing how the CO2 levels fluctuate with the seasons, I would imagine that once an optimal global temperature is reached, the growing season will be long enough to actually keep the CO2 from rising further. Optimal would be when the higher latitudes do not get too cold in winter to stop plant growth.
Why would it end with neutrality, CO2 lasts hundreds of years, nitrous oxide 100 years, methane 10 years. Read a science article and educate yourself before you ask a question that can be easily researched in a few minutes.
