It’s been a long time since 18 months ago, an oppressive Covid vaccine mandate was started that has now been dropped, just hours ago. Ending the experiment of Covid vaccines, DOD has finally announced the cessation of the Covid vaccine mandate, which then stops thousands of troops from being forced out of the military.
Despite the Covid vaccines having legal protections for the manufacturers and being on an emergency approval, the Covid vaccine mandate was started in August 2021. No boosters were ever required as time went on. Troop morale was lowered each month as thousands in every service were kicked out for not getting the Covid vaccine. Despite most of the military being under 30 years old (over 60% are under 30), the Covid vaccine was seen as a ploy to show the nation that everyone could be vaccinated. Now as time keeps showing more and more documents that show the growing side effects with the vaccine, the political pressure and the recent NDAA, forced the DOD to drop the vaccine mandate.
Here’s the memo that stops the vaccine mandate, dated today:
The mandate was rescinded because the Republican's were not going to vote to approve the NDAA if the mandates were not removed and the Democrats had to go along. The Secretary did not want to rescind the mandate but was forced to.
Per the memo, any active service member will have any reprimands due to this removed from their service record. They are also allowing Service Members that were actually given a dishonorable discharge the option to petition to have their records updated.
Every time the mandate came up the Pro-Vaccine crowd's main point was that someone in the military can not pick and chose what orders to obey and that this was a "lawful order". The mandate being rescinded now would not change the fact that at the time they disobeyed the mandate it was considered "lawful", so the reprimands and dishonorable discharges should remain according to this logic.
The fact that they are now removing these reprimands and allowing the discharge status to be petitioned to be changed is probably about as close to an admission you are going to get that they know the mandates were wrong.

Especially at the detriment of troops’ health.
Knowing what we (the public) know now and what the government and Pfizer knew in 2021, no Covid vaccine mandates should been implemented on the military, which is a healthy workforce that is mostly under 30 years old. No logic was used in the Covid vaccine mandates.

All one had to do was look at who was doing most of the dying from the very beginning... People over 60 with prior conditions, and the elderly. Relatively few under the age of 40 were dying. I posted quite often my disdain and disgust with the mandates. It never should have happened.

I think they only did it because they know the GOP majority house will try to get the mandate abolished.
