Why? So the Jan 6thers still locked up can enjoy more company? In the end, Jan 6th was little more than a political gift for the dems to use to destroy the MAGA movement and demonize it's supporters. It did nothing to advance the GOP's standing or goals. It did nothing to help Trump's standing or goals. It did give the dems an opportunity to place the boot on the necks of many of Trump's loyal supporters. It's also plausible that Jan 6th was the reason the "red wave" turned out to be a red trickle.
Did you learn nothing from the first time? I'm sure you know what Einstein said about trying the same thing twice and expecting different results...
There is a way to beat democrats... Avoid electing wimps and RINOs to fight for you. More often than not, they will cave to the dems because, much like the democrats, RINOs love money more than the people they claim to represent. The GOP is full of RINOs who hated Trump just as much as the democrats and were more than willing to look the other way if and when dems played dirty. Hey, I don't like anything the democrats are about these days, but at least they are up front and honest about the terrible policies they support. The RINOs all too often only pretend to support the principles of the constituents that elected them. That's why we have terms like "the uniparty", Dempublicans, Republocrats, democrate-lite, etc.
I prefer gridlock myself. A slow, inefficient government is the best thing any sensible, productive American can hope for. It would be much better for the masses if the GOP and DNC spent 99.9% of their time, effort and energy battling each other in the political arena, vs joining forces and figuring out more ways to divide the people so career politicians can enrich themselves at the expense of American freedom and prosperity.
