Of course neither the tyrannical left or the tyrannical right would allow such a common sense solution.

Got that right.

Both industries are regulated tighter than a virgin's honey pot.

Team Red and Team Blue like it that way.

The "solution" is a free market of course. If natural scarcity yields not enough supply the market will just have to correct itself.

And then income equality goes up!

This is why democrats used to be against mass immigration as they used to be for the american worker.
Then trump got elected and they 180d on the position.

Nursing homes employ cheap foreign labor and you wouldn't want to live in most of them.

So who cares for the elders and children in the home of the "cheap foreign laborer"? Or does this person have to leave their family back in home country and come here as a guest worker, abandoning their own family for money?

I’m sure nobody has ever thought of utilizing cheap foreign labor before.

My grandmother is 97 and lives in her own home, still drives (ugh we hate that), and only just started having a cleaning lady because she can't work the vacuum. Her friends, before most of them died, all had Figians as in-home care helpers. I guess there is a big market in her area in California.
