She is now pretending to be a meteorologist.

This has been going on in Iowa since the state's beginning. Wonder if the floods in the 1850s were due to global warming also?

Des Moines had a massive flood in 1851 that caused the population to decrease.

They had a big flood in 1876 where dozens parished, residents had to climb to their roofs

In 1965, they had a flood in the Quad Cities that drove 15,000 people from their homes with much of Clinton and Davenport under water.

Iowa is prone to flooding because it has long-periods of torrential rain in the spring and if they have a cold winter the snow melt ends up in the rivers. Seems like it has gone on since the states founding.

Sadly, every couple of decades they tend to big flood event.

It's a flood plain....floods deposit high nutrient silt....makes fertile soil to grow crops...wash rinse repeat

...it's supposed to flood...and if it didn't...no one would be farming there

The really childish thing that happens in the back and forth on Climate Change: A whole lot of people who do not know what the hell they're talking about decide to toss their two cents worth in, generally saying something that is incredibly stupid. "[Something stupid] ... bla, bla, bla, Climate Change!" Whole lot of that happening on both sides.

When you see something that's been happening ever since anyone can remember and attribute it to Climate Change, you damage the credibility of the whole concept.

Yes, because there were floods before means that acts by man could not create an environment for more flooding.

Mississippi River + Lots of Rain = Flooding

Warren is a KOOK looking to capitalize on the weak minded that have been brainwashed into believe in Man Made Climate Change (previously man made global warming).

So, you know more than the thousands of experts in this area who say you are wrong ? What is really "childish" as you say, is to deny the POSSIBIBILITY that things are changing at an alarming rate, a rate never seen before. (" It's cool today, so global warming is a hoax ! "

But, you know more than the people who study this stuff, so I am probably wasting my breath, trying to educate you.

In the last 50 years, thousands of homes have been built in the flood plain, so of course there is more damage. Also thousands of acres have been paved over, which makes the land easier to flood.
