Loughlin wants to go to trial. She should fire her lawyers. They aren't doing a good job.

If she goes to trial and is found guilty, then she should do some prison time. Unless she knows the DA and they suddenly decide to drop the charges and seal the records.

“Everyone has seen snippets of the evidence, but there’s a lot more out there. When you look at it in context, you can argue that this is a woman who didn’t understand exactly what she was doing — and she was being counseled and guided by a man who this was his area of expertise," the source said.
So this is going to be her defense? Honest, your honor, I had no idea that having my girls pose on rowing machines and then lie and say they were on the rowing team was wrong!! I mean, who knew???

Last I heard, pretending to be supremely stupid doesn't get you out of a crime.

So her defense is it's common? Everyone does it? Look at all the other instances?

There are two types of criminals, only divided by the one's that get caught.

More than Huffman's sentence, anyway.

"Devin Sloane, a Los Angeles businessman whose son was admitted to USC as a bogus water polo star, was sentenced Tuesday to four months in prison."

In admissions scandal, L.A. parent who faked son’s water polo talents gets 4 months in prison:

That defense won't get you out of a speeding ticket, and it won't get Loughlin found not guilty of the charges against her.

So long as affirmitive Action, legacy, and athlete admissions continue to get preferential treatment none of this matters. The playing field is not fair. Colleges are is the nastiest scammers working today.

Charged with felonies and excoriated by the public, the ex-bond fund manager, the philanthropist, the venture capitalist and his wife nevertheless maintained their innocence for months, even after prosecutors in the college admissions case threatened — and made good on their threat — to charge them with a second crime if they didn’t cut a deal.

But facing the prospect last week of being charged with a third felony, Douglas Hodge, Michelle Janavs and Manuel and Elizabeth Henriquez buckled, their reversals affirmed in Boston federal court on Monday when all four pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud and money laundering.

She's an actress. She "pretends" to be what she is not for a living, and it's not considered wrong. In fact, she gets paid quite well for "pretending" to be what she is not. It's no wonder she thought nothing of "pretending" that her daughters rowed crew to get them admitted to USC.
