Such ego and poor taste to announce to the public upon being elected, I am poor, I can't afford the rent until I get my first $174,000 paycheck! Since she's saying so, shouldn't she also thank her voters for making that $174,000 salary a reality for her?
Isn't it obvious? She is looking for someone to set up a gofundme page for her so she get a luxurious apartment while waiting to get her taxpayer funded payday

Yes I was just going to say can’t someone start a GoFund me for “poor” Ocasio?

If not I’m sure George Soros would help out with a few months rent .

And what young blood have republicans elected. We can't keep these old guys in senate and house anymore. We need a turnover which democrats did and will continue to do. So republicans need to get with the program.

So we need young blood for the sake of young blood ?

I’d rather vote for someone 100 years old before voting for someone like Ocasio that has no idea what she is talking about.

Doesn't she have all of these expensive designer clothes? Why doesn't she sell them on ebay and use the money to pay for her rent? And I thought she was rich anyways, growing up in a more upperclass neighborhood?

Now the left is criticizing Fox News for laughing about Ocasio’s statement about not being able to pay rent .. yet the libs forgot her expensive outs she wore during campaign.. hmm

$3500 should of been good for at least a months rent ..
