Letterman launches his new show on Netflix interviewing Obama.

They discuss life after the WH, political tensions, how we got where we are, voting rights, Selma, John Lewis, raising children, supporting the next generation of leaders, community, habits of the heart, Midwest values, ...

Just two guys talking for an hour about matters they believe are important, lighthearted, respectful, ...

A refreshing break from the mean-spirited discourse all around us these days.

I know.

This forum is a gift, a place we could discuss and debate the issues of the day, irrespective of who we are.

We could focus on ideas and facts. We could have a meeting of the minds.

Instead, with few exceptions, it's little more than trading petty insults and lies.

Such a waste.

Curious why Obama would agree to go on Letterman's show. Letterman abused so many women
he employed on his show, forcing them into sex with him. A serial abuser, given publicity by an ex President. How sad. Makes Obama an enabler for future abusers. I wonder how he explains that to his daughters

Funny, those "two losers" have more on their resumes than you or me. Both are probably the two most influential men in their respective fields that we have seen in modern times. One, a TV icon who hosted numerous shows to success, and the other, a black man who rose from poverty to become one of the best Presidents ever.

Odd how you think a winner is a man who only succeeded because of his cheating, lying, and stepping on little guys to get ahead, and yet, you think these two men, who have done nothing but win, are losers. But that tells us a lot about those of you who voted a certain way last election........it speaks volumes.

Neither Obama or Letterman has been bankrupt, and Trump has been there, what, 6 times now ? WINNING !!!
