SMH

Is he insinuating the notion that young men with high testosterone are susceptible to being perpetrators of sexual violence? If so, he's clueless. He sounds like a feminist.

Quote:
WASHINGTON -- Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) called on the military to do more to crack down on sexual assault in its ranks on Tuesday, while also worrying that they may be hard to stop because of the natural "hormone level" of the young men serving.
"The young folks who are coming into each of your services are anywhere from 17 to 22 or 23. Gee whiz, the hormone level created by nature sets in place the possibility for these types of things to occur. So we've got to be very careful how we address it on our side," Chambliss told top military officials at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing. "But guys, we are not doing our job. You're not doing yours, and we are not doing ours with the rates we are seeing on sexual assaults."
Although Chambliss is decrying sexual assault in the military and saying he wants to do more to stop it, his comments echo the "boys will be boys" mentality that has been used throughout the years to dismiss sexual harassment and assault and avoid taking action to prevent them.

Senators will be Senators.

Maybe someone should ask him what he did when he was young to "suppress the surging hormones to go out and ravage some young lady..."

So, is it your opinion that these rapes are being committed solely for the purpose predation? Says alot about all the homosexual attacks I guess.

Most of us made it through our "hormone levels" rising without needing to rape someone. The ONLY way to address this is harshly. We're talking about members of the US military, and frankly, it's embarrassing to the entire nation how we're handling sexual assault in the military.

I agree with senator Chambliss. Furthermore, rape should not be a crime. These men can't help it. It's not their fault. It's due to the male rape-hormone and is perfectly natural and normal.

Is that why there has been uptick in homosexual rapes in the military?

If you know anything about the sleazy things he did to an American hero to get into the Senate, you would gain insight into just what a poor excuse for a human being Saxby Chambliss is.

I wish the GOP would take sexual assault in the military as seriously as they do about some tea party groups having to fill out proper paperwork.

Preposterous. As feminine girly men, homos have very low levels of the male rape-hormone.

This is why frontline activity needs to be restricted to women only, cold dispassionate killers.
