2012 BRICS summit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"They also condemned the Western world’s pressure tactics on Iran to make other countries adhere to their restrictions on trade ties[26] and said dialogue alone could resolve the nuclear issues. The group added that the 2011-2012 Syrian uprising could also only be resolved through dialogue. They warned against any military intervention in Syria by the West or by Israel in Iran.[27] They added that a war with Iran would have "disastrous consequences."[28] China's Trade Minister Chen Deming said that the "rise [in the price] of crude oil has impacted all countries. The Iran issue has become an issue for all. We need to continue with normal relations with Iran, but, at the same time, we respect UN resolution. We hope that unilateral movement by one country will not affect other countries."[9]"

The reason the BRICS (Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa) back Irans position is (1) Iran is not doing anything wrong and (2) We fought the last World War to establish the right of nations to self-defense and to be free of aggression! A nation has the right to build or buy what ever it needs for self defense and that choice is that nations alone to make. If a nation feels it needs nuclear weapons to ensure it is not the victim of agression by any nation or group of nations it has every right to do so. What right does the USA have to order a nation like Iran to be naked to future American Aggression?
