It was past the PNC Park site, on the opposite side of General Robinson St. I believe it opened around 1973 or so. They lost their liquor license sometime during the mid 70's. They closed during the early 80's. Reflections was another late 70's spot. It was located in Market Square, in the space that Walt Harper's Attic occupied during the early 70's. They had happy hour every day, and the place would be jumping at 4pm, like it was midnight on saturday. Next door was the Crazy Quilt, which featured live bands playing R&B. There were 3 Capri Pizza places that had disco's attached to them in the 80's. The Unique was Uptown on Fifth Avenue. Forbes Studio was in Oakland on Forbes, and Constantine's was on Penn in East Liberty. Happy Landing was in the Kossman Building downtown, and was renamed Celebrity in the mid 80's.

You really was a "party person" was'nt you I have heard or been in most of the places that you mentioned and had a good time

It is amazing that we all had so many fond memories of a time that ended up being the begining of our situation that we are in today. Some people talk about the simple life of the 50's, but I had a ball in the 80s and 90s

80's and 90's rocked. I think mass media/Internet sort of killed that kind of great living. Sure was fun to really socialize and not over a text message or an email. Also, we are bombarded every day with the worst of the worst world news. They sure can pick the worst stories to shock us all and you would think we are all living in a war zone with crime around every corner. I don't think we will get the old 80's and 90's back again. We have gone too far in a direction of paranoia, gloom and doom, instead of just fun and enjoy.

A bunch of old people on this forum (joking of course, though amusing that I've never even heard if any of these places; I wonder what the average life span of a nightclub is)

I wouldn't be sad, I would be happy. Yeah, so you are a bit older, but you really hit some great decades! That is something to be thankful for. We live in a paranoid society now, so those fun times will never be back. People are afraid to have a kid sled ride down their hill because they may get sued. People don't throw a party anymore, because if something happens after the party and someone gets hurt the person that was kind enough to throw that party will be behind bars. Strange times. I don't think we will see carefree living anymore. Congrats to you for hitting such great times. I got in a couple of decades at least.
