So far I have bought my coffee from Prestogeorge, Nicholas, and the Coffee Tree Roasters. Does anybody have any better suggestions? I want to stop tomorrow and get my brother and parents good quality coffee as a stocking stuffer. I so far like the Coffee Tree Roasters the best.

Suburban coffee roasters are welcome as well, unless they are in Wexford or Cranberry.

We buy Starbucks at Sams club because of convenience but really want to try Nicholas or that good place in the strip...

Over 30 years ago my dad use to buy coffee at Nicholas because he worked in town. We were so spoiled by the very high quality of goods my dad use to get in town back then...

Tazza Doro in Highland Park and Aldo in Mt. Lebanon have the taste that I look for in a cup of coffee. Crazy Mocha is not bad either.

There's a great little coffee & tea place outside near PPG Place downtown, in the courtyard shopping mall area. I can't remember their name, but they had an outstaiding variety of coffees, and even the jamaican Blue Mountain was reasonably-priced!!!!

Starbucks burns their coffee. La Prima is bitter and they use sub par beans. I prefer Fortunes coffee and they do offer 100% HI Kona and a Kona blend that is great. Fortunes is also in the strip. They also do special orders etc. I really prefer the place over the others.

21st St Coffee (21st and Smallman) is by FAR the best coffee in town. I don't think they roast their own, but they have a good selection of fancy beans.

I like La Prima. I've had mixed results from Coffee Tree.
Keep in mind, it's all still good coffee, and better than starbucks any day.
