I noticed there isn't very many photos with people as the subject. Is it the legal aspect (no model release) or simply that not too many people here photograph people?
Just curious... I have some "people photos" but I've been hesitant to post them here so far.
I find it difficult because people don't act natural if they spot you, so when I do photograph people it will be from a distance. I'll dig up some examples later.
I don't photograph people often, but I attended a family reunion last weekend and took this one of my aunt from across the room. I was playing with my new camera to check the settings for low-light, and I zoomed in on her while she was in conversation. She spotted me, and smiled, and this is the result. I adjusted the color saturation a little and softened the photo some. We both like how it turned out. Nothing posed, it was just a quick shot that almost looks like an OlanMills portrait.
