must be a lot of churches around you elnina. great shots. I'm waiting for hydrogen to reappear - there's a stained glass museum on Navy Pier right there in Chicago..

Bible Belt...
The only pretty stained glass around here I see in churches. Sadly most are closed, so I am trying to catch them on Sundays.

I take it the secret to getting the color is to take the pictures inside? I just went to a local church on Sat and all the windows were dark from the outside because there was no light. I don't think the sun being out would have helped much either.

Yes, you can only get them nice from inside. A bright, sunny day is the best.
Check when they have a mass, and take the pix before or after. Otherwise most churches are closed.

This one was taken from outside late in the evening, and the church was lit well inside, so I got a good contrast.
