Kind of off topic a little. There's a guy here in town that has a 1932 Chevy pickup. He said that when he bought it new, he really loved it. So he's never bought another pickup since. This thing looks like it's brand new. I'll see if I can get pictures. He even had a canvas topper made for it.
Cleveland recently had it's annual airshow over the Labor Day weekend...although I missed the show I was able to find out where the
main attraction, the USAF Thunderbirds were taking off from and landing.
It was very cool!...
To be honest, this was better than going to the airshow...no crowds!...
Getting ready for take-off...
Ah yes, the Air Force Thunderbirds, with the General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin F-16 Falcon. I've seen them many times and I've always enjoyed their spectacular show. The very first time I saw them was in 1972 (when I was 15) with my parents, and back then they were using the F-4 Phantom.
Magnum Mike, I always regretted not seeing the Thunderbirds when they had F-4s; especially since it later became my favorite fighter aircraft! (Despite the firm belief that maintenance was an afterthought during its design...)
They are all nice....something about the B&W's I like the best.
