Interesting document from the International Energy Conservation Code, This topic/post may be most interesting for people who are interested in building technology and improved energy efficiency in homes like I am.

I'm not in the construction industry. But if anyone is, I'd welcome your input and opinion of current AZ building codes with respect to energy efficiency. I've posted my opinions on this issue before, complaining of no requirement to install double-pane, low-e windows in the valley (at least this practice WAS allowed by AZ building codes at least into the 1990s; perhaps, and likely, it's been made more stringent now days.) Please inform me. Thanks.
