About three weeks ago I thought a red-light camera flashed me, at least that's what I thought. How long does it usually take for the notice to arrive in the mail? - Thanks.

I don't know, but isn't that the worst feeling! We have those around here and I thought I got flashed once. Never received anything in the mail though.

I got mine within a week or so. Three years later I still haven't paid and nobody's come looking for me yet.

Yeah. Really bad feeling. Starting to feel more relieved as it is a while back now... but it may still come

Sometimes they don't show up at all. I had that happen once. I was driving down Indian School Road in Scottsdale and the flash went off. I thought I got a ticket, but maybe they didn't get a good picture of my face or something. I never got the ticket.

All photos are reviewed before being sent out. If there is any remote possibility that it's not enforceable it won't be sent.
One time I saw a flash in Scottsdale. I called and the investigator I talked to I gave time and details, he checked and said it was the vehicle passing next to me and not to worry.

120 day rule in AZ so no one will ever come for you.

I got hit by a false red light a few years back and it took about a month maybe more to finally come to me in the mail. I tossed it and got served and it was an easy win in court for me, the video clearly showed me driving through the intersection and the camera flagged me for running a red turn arrow.

They sometimes set them to flash when there aren't violations (which is irritating as hell!) I think it has something to do with checking the cameras aim & calibration. I've gotten flashed a couple times doing 5 under the limit. , yup, that was me in the picture, and that's *not* my thumb I'm holding up!

ROFL I have gotten maybe 8 in the last 10 years. Two on my motorcycle with my face clearly visible but with glasses on and a bandana and the rest in my car. Each and every one of them I simply scanned a copy of my DL which has a picture of me when I was 100 pounds heavier and I write in bold letters across the ticket NOT ME I WAS OUT OF TOWN. I then check sites for the tickets and within 2 weeks they all have been dismissed with no questions asked.

Government takes taxpayers money, gives it to traffic camera company, traffic stays the same. Unethical and useless. Who said AZ is libertarian??
