Our littlest rescue Scottie found a wild kitten living in our shed last week. Very tiny. Took a while to catch her, since she was really scared. No momma cat around (haven't seen a cat around the back yard in ages... So we brought her in to get her healthy. Put her in a large crate with blankets, a few toys, and kitten milk.
Took her to the vet Friday to have her checked out (which is when we found she was a she). Got a clean bill of health. She started to come around to us. But Romeo, the littlest Scottie, has adopted her! They play together all the time, and when she sleeps hard after playing hard, he watches over her.
The plan was to adopt her out after getting her healthy and socialized, but I think we'll have to ask Romeo first!
So cute! I have 2 cats and 1 dog and while they often cuddle with us in tandem they do sometimes cuddle with each other as well and it's great to see. Here is my yin yang, Rufus the poodle mix and Molly the tuxedo cat.
So today, little Tika went to her forever home. She's going to be well loved and taken care of, but I'm going to miss the little nutball, and Romeo is already missing her. This was this morning before she left:
Oh No - poor Romeo is going to miss her. You couldn't keep her?
