it was on page three. I know it's not a forum section but there really doesn't be that demand for one.

Maybe the horse lovers are out riding, or cleaning stalls?

It would be nice. I don't see the fish and bird forums being very active either but they have their own space. I try to come back to the one thread now and the but often it has slipped far back in the mix and is hard to find.

Admin adds sub-forums when the posts add up. Stuff like this thread don't count, only actual horse-relate threads.

Luckily there are plenty of other forums with lots of space for horse loves. I do my horse talking elsewhere.

Any tips for frigid weather care?

The winds were gusting to 50MPH yesterday and it barely got up to 18F. I let my two guys out at ten and brought them back in at two.

Today there's no wind but it's only 12F, I put them out about ten and it has been snowing, there will be some on their backs. I may let them go until three.

I want them to get watered. The water buckets freeze in the stalls.

Tomorrow night it's supposed to be a low of -17F. I will be putting down extra bedding; well I did that anyway yesterday, it was 2F when I got up this morning.

They really do use their hay and feed for warmth, this morning was one of the lightest stall cleanouts I can remember.
