Type in your Grandfathers name and search the whole United States if you want. It might take you some time depending on how common your Grandfathers name is.

Are you in the united states
There are German Consulate offices all over the united states you should contact them they may be able to help. You need to contact them also for assistance if your in this country on a temporary visa. I just hope you were not deported before you fond him.
