Just another undocumented conspiracy theory offered by a climate change denier IMO.

Again, as I asked in post 17, do you believe that all of the empirical evidence offered in post 11 is made-up???

Unlogic?

<<But there was a darker strain. For every two people who offered a rational and informed reason for why they were supporting Biden or Trump, there was another–almost always a Trump supporter–who offered an explanation divorced from reality. You could call this persistent style of untethered reasoning “unlogic.” Unlogic is not ignorance or stupidity; it is reason distorted by suspicion and misinformation, an Orwellian state of mind that arranges itself around convenient fictions rather than established facts.>>

When funding for your budgets are dependent on certain results and or grants for your so called

scientific papers the lines get blurred. Proof is nothing more then climate models that can get you the results you need by entering the corrupt data. Garbage in garbage out. You keep drinking the kool aid while I maintain a healthy skepticism with politics and money. Look how political the courts are with each side wanting their guy or gal in. You would think our laws are black and white with little wiggle room and most judges would think the same. If you believe money can't buy results, oh my.

Surprise, Surprise! A climate change denier believes that the scientific experts are corrupt.

Unless you believe all of the mounting climate change empirical data is fake, and even that Hurricanes Michael and Sally were imaginary, your delusions indicate to me that you are drinking science denier Kool-Aid. Unfortunately, collectively such smug denials of reality are dooming the U.S. and the world to a catastrophe that could be mitigated.

Once again, for the third time, is the empirical data presented in post 11 fake? If you believe it's "garbage," just say so. At least then, every reader can gauge the quality of your logical (or IMO unlogical) reasoning.

It's hard to believe that you are serious. More likely, as with IMO too many of our political leaders, your arguments are just more "Big Lie" propaganda, and not even very good propaganda because they seriously lack credibilty. E.g., the climate change scientists are corrupt, you argue, despite the mounting empirical evidence including catastrophes now being experienced by many.

You apparently believe the western wildfires are the result of inadequate forest raking, and not because of drought conditions and higher temperatures than in the past, as reported by scientists.

Personally, I believe the scientists, not science deniers. Each of us must make this choice.

All this so called data is nothing more then projections from climate modeling using data programed into it. When there is a bias towards a certain result with your pay check in the balance, Yes I would question this so called data. "Garbage" would be one word to use for corrupt data.

Just like when people go to court and lawyers need to hire so called scientific experts to testify. Both sides come with their own experts to undermine the other side using their so called "science". I am just recovering from the "Global Cooling" we went through according to your "scientist" in the 70's. Thank god we have this global warming to warm us up. Mother earth and our sun have been here millions of years before man set foot on her. Our climate has changed cooler and warmer with out our help and I believe it will continue. My pay check does not depend on this opinion, but I will give it to you for free.

With all due respect....if you "believe in climate change", then why in the world would you move to Florida? We would be ground zero for climate change. Science does matter but you have to look at where that "science"is originating and who employs/funds the scientist.

You probably should pick a state that would not be affected as much and stay away from Florida. Climate change people believe the hurricanes are going to get worse, the water will keep heating up adn killing off the sea life and they believe the ocean will rise and the land will sink.

Just sayin......

The data is empirical. The historic trends are not models. The trends reflect what really happened and is happening. From the factually correct past and present, the models then project forward. But they are not fed made up data. That's simply not how this works.

It would be great if WHO and CDC would provide their research that changed their minds that masks work since they originally said they don’t.

As the evidence changed, so did the advice offered.

<<At the beginning of the pandemic, medical experts lacked good evidence on how SARS-CoV-2 spreads, and they didn’t know enough to make strong public-health recommendations about masks....

More-rigorous analyses added direct evidence. A preprint study4 posted in early August (and not yet peer reviewed), found that weekly increases in per-capita mortality were four times lower in places where masks were the norm or recommended by the government, compared with other regions. Researchers looked at 200 countries, including Mongolia, which adopted mask use in January and, as of May, had recorded no deaths related to COVID-19. Another study5 looked at the effects of US state-government mandates for mask use in April and May. Researchers estimated that those reduced the growth of COVID-19 cases by up to 2 percentage points per day. They cautiously suggest that mandates might have averted as many as 450,000 cases, after controlling for other mitigation measures, such as physical distancing....

Although scientists can’t control many confounding variables in human populations, they can in animal studies. Researchers led by microbiologist Kwok-Yung Yuen at the University of Hong Kong housed infected and healthy hamsters in adjoining cages, with surgical-mask partitions separating some of the animals. Without a barrier, about two-thirds of the uninfected animals caught SARS-CoV-2, according to the paper7 published in May. But only about 25% of the animals protected by mask material got infected, and those that did were less sick than their mask-free neighbours (as measured by clinical scores and tissue changes).>>

<<A study of an outbreak aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, an environment notable for congregate living quarters and close working environments, found that use of face coverings on-board was associated with a 70% reduced risk....

Seven studies have confirmed the benefit of universal masking in community level analyses: in a unified hospital system,38 a German city,39 a U.S. state,40 a panel of 15 U.S. states and Washington, D.C.,41,42 as well as both Canada43 and the U.S.44 nationally. Each analysis demonstrated that, following directives from organizational and political leadership for universal masking, new infections fell significantly. Two of these studies42,44 and an additional analysis of data from 200 countries that included the U.S.45 also demonstrated reductions in mortality. An economic analysis using U.S. data found that, given these effects, increasing universal masking by 15% could prevent the need for lockdowns and reduce associated losses of up to $1 trillion or about 5% of gross domestic product.42>>

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019...sars-cov2.html

<<On July 2, 2020, the governor of Kansas issued an executive order† (state mandate), effective July 3, requiring masks or other face coverings in public spaces. CDC and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment analyzed trends in county-level COVID-19 incidence before (June 1-July 2) and after (July 3-August 23) the governor's executive order among counties that ultimately had a mask mandate in place and those that did not. As of August 11, 24 of Kansas's 105 counties did not opt out of the state mandate§ or adopted their own mask mandate shortly before or after the state mandate was issued; 81 counties opted out of the state mandate, as permitted by state law, and did not adopt their own mask mandate. After the governor's executive order, COVID-19 incidence (calculated as the 7-day rolling average number of new daily cases per 100,000 population) decreased (mean decrease of 0.08 cases per 100,000 per day; net decrease of 6%) among counties with a mask mandate (mandated counties) but continued to increase (mean increase of 0.11 cases per 100,000 per day; net increase of 100%) among counties without a mask mandate (nonmandated counties). The decrease in cases among mandated counties and the continued increase in cases in nonmandated counties adds to the evidence supporting the importance of wearing masks and implementing policies requiring their use to mitigate the spread of SARS-CoV-2 (1-6). >>

they originally said they don’t.

Yeah - 10 months ago, and while referring to self-protection.

You wear a mask to protect someone else - which wasn't part of their discussion in February. Anyway, it was nearly a year ago - get over it, accept the info changed, and wear a mask.
