Have you accidentally used a foreign coin in a machine (vending/coin-operated, or self-checkout kiosk) ?

Today’s Question:
If you live in the U.S., are you ever given Canadian coins in your change ?
Occasionally and I turn right around and spend them as if they're USD.
If you live in Canada, are you ever given American coins in your change ?
If you don't have time ot exchange USD for CAD the border areas at least are
more than happy to take your cash at an exchange rate they find favorable.
Have you accidentally used a foreign coin in a machine (vending/coin-operated, or self-checkout kiosk) ?
No. I keep most foreign coins, including a small sampling of Canadian, or give them to someone who wants them.
Extra Credit:
Have you been to an establishment that had a bouncer (it’s okay if you’re not sure/don’t know) ?
I have, but never been bounced. Yet.
Have you ever had to stand outside a nightclub, where the door person has list and/or decides who to let in ? Nope. Bonus:
Have you taken sequential (whether across minutes, years, or another interval) photos of the same place or thing (not just of same person), to show how it changed over time ? I have. I've done that with an elm tree, taking a photo every month for a year.
I've heard of families that take pix of the kids every birthday. Just for Fun:
Have you played the game “Battleship” ?
I have played that boring, pointless game.
If so, which version: puzzles on paper, plastic boards with pegs, electronic and/or “talking” model, or computer/console ?
Wishing you an enlightened and marvelous equinox Monday And a benevolent and erudite vernal occurrence to you too.

Today’s Question:
If you live in the U.S., are you ever given Canadian coins in your change ? - A penny here and there that I did not notice until later but not in a long time.
If you live in Canada, are you ever given American coins in your change ? - N/A
Have you accidentally used a foreign coin in a machine (vending/coin-operated, or self-checkout kiosk) ? - Nope. But once here I put a nickle in the laundry machine by mistake and I had a hard time getting it out.
Extra Credit:
Have you been to an establishment that had a bouncer (it’s okay if you’re not sure/don’t know) ? - Sure
Have you ever had to stand outside a nightclub, where the door person has list and/or decides who to let in ? - Nope
Bonus:
Have you taken sequential (whether across minutes, years, or another interval) photos of the same place or thing (not just of same person), to show how it changed over time ? - Haven't.
Just for Fun:
Have you played the game “Battleship” ?
If so, which version: puzzles on paper, plastic boards with pegs, electronic and/or “talking” model, or computer/console ? - No, only vaguely heard of it...
Today’s Question:
If you live in the U.S., are you ever given Canadian coins in your change? It doesn't happen very often, but it happens.
Have you accidentally used a foreign coin in a machine (vending/coin-operated, or self-checkout kiosk) ? No, but I've done that on purpose. It never worked.
Extra Credit:
Have you been to an establishment that had a bouncer (it’s okay if you’re not sure/don’t know)? When I was single my girlfriends and I used to sometimes go to bars, so I guess the answer is yes.
Have you ever had to stand outside a nightclub, where the door person has list and/or decides who to let in ? No, I haven't ever done that.
Bonus:
Have you taken sequential (whether across minutes, years, or another interval) photos of the same place or thing (not just of same person), to show how it changed over time ? I'm not sure if this counts, but I took a photo of the house I lived in as a little girl when I was visiting Southern California in the 1980s. Then I captured a screen shot of the house as it looks now on Google street view.
Just for Fun:
Have you played the game “Battleship”?
If so, which version: puzzles on paper, plastic boards with pegs, electronic and/or “talking” model, or computer/console ? LINK --->https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battleship_(game)
I've never played that. As a rule I am hopeless at strategy games.
Thanks, cloven!
